China National Electronics Import and Export South-China Company was founded in April 1980. It is a Guangzhou-Based foreign trade company of China National Electronics Import and Export corporation. Registered with the department concerned of the state, this company has the status of a legal person and operates on its own.

It was directly under the jurisdiction of the former Ministry of Electronic Industry and is now operating under the Ministry of Information Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Cooperation.
